Danny Manning - TU press conference this afternoon

2:30 this afternoon. Will be interesting to see if any new staff additions are announced. I've heard it's being streamed live by TU and maybe one of the local radio stations.

Pretty much a boilerplate press conference. We're going to work hard, do things the right way, produce quality young men. Only new addition to the staff is Justin Bauman, another KU guy who has been working for Rex Walters at San Fran. I gues he will be the DOBO.

Cannont see him being over Dooley as Manning was the DBO for a while and Dooley was an assistant with Janko.

Manning had a real strong relationship with Julius Randle and the other high profile Texas recruits.

I suspect TU will land a fairly highly rated big man in the next couple of years. Not on the level he recruited to Kansas but top 100. Manning actually made me a partial believer in him as HC. I still have my doubts as I think he's more suited for an assistant position but we'll see.
