Okay so he says he's going to put more money towards nil so that we can get a better quality team and hopefully that will fix things. Let's give the guy a chance and see if he actually backs his words up with action. I'm cautiously optimistic!

I completely agree. I agree we need to fully invest in the program. What Denny said was a clear indictment of Joe C and his mismanagement of the basketball program. I also think Moser isn’t the guy to lead the program. He has clearly failed. Porter Moser should be fired, no question.

We need more investment and a new head coach.

Good post, soonerguy. It's also good to know that logic can, in some cases, still prevail over the protests of emotionally immature messes.

I agree with this. But there is very little support to give. A new coach could atleast excite some people. Who is genuinely excited about another season under Moser? Crickets…
 
Stupid timing for this statement too.. takes away porter's agent's need to put out feelers and hopefully land a different job to extend his horrifically shrinking shelf life.

I told yall that the new AD would be too scared to make a move and that he wouldn't get the true sense of where the program was once and where it is now. I got ridiculed that he gets paid wayyy to much to NOT know that. but alas..

Exactly. And if Moser did get fired, it's easy to just say "I never said it was guaranteed, they decided last minute to fire him."

I've caught another of our "distinguished" board members doing that crap in the past.
