DePaul has a pretty balanced team. Their leading scorer is Penny, a 6'1" forward who averages 15.8 points per game. She doesn't shoot 3s but is a scorer inside.

Next is Rogowski who is a 5'9" guard who shoots 46% from BTA. She averages 15.3 points per game.

Hrynko is a 5'8" guard who averages 12.5 points per game.

The other double digit scorer is Jenkins who is 5'5" guard who averages 10.8 points per game. She has had 172 assists to only 63 turnovers.

The other starter is Podkowa who is a 6'2" guard/forward who averages 9.1 points per game and 6.3 rebounds per game.

Hopefully, Griffin can score a bunch since DePaul doesn't have the height to contend with a 6'6" center. We still must have scoring from the outside and we need to defend better than we have in most games. If we can use some trapping and keep them off balance, I think this is a very winnable game.

She has to be strong with the ball and be able to catch it to score. Something she is not very good at.

I checked the Cox on screen guide a few minutes ago and the description of what would be on ESPN2 was very generic. But when I did a search for Women's Basketball, it showed OU vs Depaul on SPPV1, channel 601. I have no idea what that means. :D

That is a "pay per view" channel.

Gotta take good care of the ball and make the easy, basic plays. Too many turnovers, but down only six.

DePaul is good defensively. I would say that we need to work the ball inside but both Griffin and Williams have butterfingers today.

I guess what upsets me more than any thing, this team has had two weeks to prepare and we make absolutely nothing but "inexperienced" mistakes for a "senior" led team. We still don't defend the three, throw away easy passes, and play like we don't care. Explain again why this team deserved an NCAA invitation. There were some really good teams left out of playing in this tournament. I am ready for this season to be over and move on to next year. Yes I am frustrated, but a team should be better prepared for playing in the big dance. We are not.

I think the answer to Sherri's clapping at the end of the half was relief at knowing she only has one more half to get through and then they are done.

DePaul moves the ball well on offense and they are more athletic than we are. Throw in our mistakes and weak defense and it's easy to understand the score.

Cold 3 shooting. No inside scoring. Griffin is playing like she did as a sophomore.

At this point, it is what it is. Time for a Baylor-like come back -- only win this time.

Don't forget that the Sooners have the largest comeback from a second half deficit in NCAA history. DePaul shot out of their minds in the first half.

Can they keep that up? No one really knows.

But don't give up on this team. The parts are there.

Where are all the people who jumped on Options when he/she said they did not deserve an NCAA bid and he hoped they did not get selected?

If you look up how NOT to end a half in a Dictionary our last minute will be in it.

She always is clapping instead getting in their grill. Infuriates the hell out of me. I hate to say it but she lost this team a long time ago. Terrible coaching job this season. It will be interesting to see how she does going forward. I do get tired of the smiling and clapping when we're getting it handed to us on the court.
