At least I now know who doesn't believe in this team.
 
They did almost everything the could. If they didn't get behind by 16 in the first half, they win this game going away. Story of the season.

Valiant, Valiant effort, especially by Vegas, Portia, and Sharane.

If we would have gotten any production out of Carter and Griffin we would have won the game. I hate to see the season end like that.
 
Portia's play the last few games makes me wonder if she could have contributed more this season.

I felt bad for Griffin. Most improved player over the last 4 years.

I think defense is what kept her on the bench.

I felt bad for Nicole, too, but this team wasn't a good matchup for her.

Not to knock her, but I think Sherri may have stuck with Gioya a little too long.
Late in the game, an offensive foul, a turnover and let a player behind her on the back of the zone for a layup.
The potential is there, so hopefully the valuable experience today will serve her well in the future.
 
Thank you girls for making me eat crow. Proud they finished the season with the pride and passion that was always there, but not every minute. The youngsters will learn from this and will make them better next season. Always BOOMER SOONER LADIES, BOOMER SOONER.:OU-logo::OUbball-logo::OU-logo:
 
Actually I'm glad to see the season end like that. Fighting down to the wire with a chance to win. Maybe that will make the underclassmen work over the summer for next year.
 
I'm optimistic for Kaylon Williams. She missed all of last summer's work - she wasn't cleared until September. I think she'll improve over the summer.

Carter 0-4 and all were layups and 4 turnovers. Hook 3-13 and 5 turnovers and last 3's were all airballs. Thank God for Aaryn, Portia and Sharane. Kaylon played a little better today too, but still gets some dumb fouls.

Great effort to get back in the game.
 
Kaylon's fouling is what scares me about her in the future. We really need for her to learn to play smarter.

Kay Kay was really, really good in the 2nd half. Rebounded well, blocked shots and scrapped after losing balls. Tremendous hustle plays.
Seems we get two or three playing well at a time … if we could've ever gotten all five on the floor doing their thing, then we are pretty darn good.
