Rumor is Gibbs may not be back but time will tell if that is true. If she doesn't come back, we may be in trouble without a juco.
Kaylon's fouling is what scares me about her in the future. We really need for her to learn to play smarter.
I have to give Dee Kantner credit to making the right call on Morgan on the bunny hop before she shot a couple of times. I've seen different players do that tons of times this year and today was the first time I've seen it called.
Yes, those were definitely travels and the officiating didn't hurt us today at all, IMO.
Speaking of traveling calls …
Why is traveling never called in the post when players come to a two foot stop, establish a pivot, then take a big step with the pivot foot to get a shot off? I recall our NCAA tourney game a few years back against Stanford and Brooke Smith and she got away with that for about 30 points and they eliminated us.
Or am I just wanting traveling to be called if we can't defend someone? LOL!

If you come to a legal jump stop - both feet hit the ground at the same time - you haven't established your pivot foot yet and you can move accordingly.

Unfortunately, not true! 6'3" BS...no pun intended...was not traveling but was consistently doing what is called a step through move. She had great help with another tough post in 6'4" Kristen Newlin whom OU was trying to defend with 6'1" Leah Rush. Not a good match-up. The obvious better match-up was 6'3" AParis with her twin 6'4" CParis who were accustomed to the the play of Stanford. When AP was in the game it made a difference, but SCoale admittedly went with her upperclasswomen for that game, regardless of the match-ups! Yes, I'm still heated about that one.
I agree, it was a step through, which is not traveling. Kaylon has used the same move successfully many times.
You're both wrong. Bay always finds fault with everyone not named Paris, and you always agree the the officials are correct when they are against OU.I agree, it was a step through, which is not traveling. Kaylon has used the same move successfully many times.
You don't get two and a half steps on a step through.Done correctly, it is a thing of beauty. And infuriating to the opposing fans. Maria Cordero used to have a nice step-through move for OSU.

Meanwhile, why is Gibbs being rumored not to be returning?

Go away, bay.
I know what a step-through move is, and it doesn't permit two and a half steps, no matter who teaches it.
