Does OU get in?

I lean towards no but we will be right on the edge and it just depends on which side. I know there is supposedly no difference between early play and late play but human nature is human nature and I don’t really believe it will all be judged equally. I will have no issue with it if we are omitted.

No, and quite frankly I don't care. This team has quit down the stretch. There needs to be some serious soul searching in the offseason. They'll be one and done no matter which tournament they end up in. If they don't make the NCAA tournament, they might as well decline the invite to the NIT.

We are huge Rhode Island fans today. That's an at-large spot gone if Davidson wins.

Rhode Island gets beat by Davidson and we head to the NIT

Possibly, but there are other teams in the same boat as we are (Louisville, Middle Tennessee, Arizona State, and St. Mary's)....it's a question of who is the "last" team in the tournament as of now. Hopefully, URI takes care of business and we don't have to worry about it.

Freaking Rhode Island. There is a very good chance this sink us.

Only if OU is the literal currently last team in the field. Haven’t seen any projections with us that low. The Bracketmatrix consensus still has us as a 10 seed and not even one of last four in. I actually don’t think we are on the bubble at all. I definitely think we are “in danger” of being in a play-in game though.

There's zero chance we're a 10. If we're in, which is a big if, we're in the play-in.

Being match up against a play-in game winner is a pretty nasty position to be in. They're tough to beat (excluding the 16 seed play-in teams).

Granted, this team doesn't need a play in game. If anything, it probably needs as much of a break from playing as possible. This team has desperately need a week or two off to reset for a couple months. That's the one advantage to being an early out in the conference tourney. Maybe we'll see a different team next week? I'll settle for Trae lighting up one team.

Some people on message boards struggle with percentages and probability, but you realize what saying there is zero chance means? And you realize this message will still be here in a few hours?

There's definitely a chance.

Care to bet on it?
