This was a makeup game and apparently didn't have any playoff implications, so they gave him a night off.

Reading the football board it seems most people don't believe Drake can come to OU and that he's probably going elsewhere. Maybe Iowa? But who knows.

OU had a walkon from Putnam City playing over a 5 star LB and 4 star LB. I'm sure Drake Stoops won't get Wes Welkered.

Actually, Drake Stoops is listed at 5'11" and OU has had some successful WRs at that height.

I called every single one of Drake's games last year. There is no doubt he could play at OU. It really just comes down to if Bob wants to coach his son and if Drake would want to play with his Dad.

Not saying he can't play at OU. Based on what little I've seen he can play at OU. Just not sure how Bob will approach recruiting him or if it's a walk-on type situation when you could see him get a scholarship from say Iowa or Ohio.

Yeah, different coaches approach that situation in different ways. Bud didn't want his sons to play for him. Billy's son played for him and Kelvin didn't have a problem with Kellen walking on.
