What will we get from these two?

I looked at the film on both of them and I’m kinda surprised I like them both so much. These dudes are solid contributors.

Elijah’s film shows an athletic player, a defender, a good 3 point shooter, a rebounder, and a high riser in the Alondes Williams mold.

Umoja’s film shows a slasher, a 3 point shooter, a defender, a passer, an all around solid player.

Thoughts?

Gibson well ahead of elijah.

Assuming Gibson is eligible. He’ll start from Day 1.

Gibson was one of the most underrated transfers available this season imo.

PG: Devion Harmon
SG: Umoja Gibson
SG: Austin Reaves
PF: Brady Manek
C: Kur Kuath

Backups:
G- Alondes Williams
G/F - Jalen Hill
G - Trey Phipps
PF - Victor
C - Issanza
G- Anyang Garang

Hard to believe that isn't a good team, unless there is cancer somewhere. Talented teams can be totally brought down by team cancer. I have one player I am concerned about that may be cancer, but if that doesn't happen I like this roster.

That looks like the roster of a solid team...shot blocking, rebounding, shooting, ball handling, defense, experience.., it’s all there ..... I agree hope there are no cancers to ruin it

I'm going to go out on a limb a little here......If Harkless does not redshirt I think he has a chance to jump Williams on the depth chart. From what I saw, Harkless appears to be more polished/ready than Williams was this season. Hopefully Williams is putting in the work and continues to get better because he as all the tools.

I think Harkless will Redshirt regardless of NCAA waiver, unless injury or something unforeseen comes up.

Don’t think they’ll be any cancers.

I agree I believe this will be a good team. On the surface, I think they will be just marginally above the bubble (7/8 seed range). My only concern with the proposed rotation will be rebounding. Once again, we will be a "slight" team that is likely to get pushed around by more physical teams. My hope is that Hill and Vic will continue to have the "fight" mentality for boards. And maybe UG will be a good rebounding guard (have no idea on this). The good news is that, even with the loss of Doolittle, this team can potentially be better offensively next year.

Brady is a great stretch 4 but it’s the 5 spot where we are going to have to rely on guys who have not played big minutes but have played enough that we know their strengths.
Kur and Vik are good defenders, active shot blockers and good rebounders.
IDK what Izzy adds yet but I know he’s tall and supposed to be athletic.

Based on what? He has been the hardest working player on the team since becoming a Sooner.

I agree with tiny. I know many dislike his cavalier attitude about putting up questionable shots - but he also moves well without the ball and is very active overall. He (and Harmon at the end) were really high energy compared to JB's barely registering on the emo scale.
