What are the top three things you're anxious to see in Friday's practice? For me, it's the following, in no particular order:
_I'm eager to get my first look at Amath M'Baye. I don't expect him to dominate, the way some of us thought Osby would do last year. Ro was a little tentative at the beginning, but proved as the season progressed why he was reported to be the best player on the team the year he sat out the season.
_I can't wait to see how our freshmen guards perform in their first real exposure at this level. Will one emerge as a candidate to push for a starting spot, or will all three demonstrate an ability to make a contribution to the team's success this year?
_Will we see a marked improvement in one of our returning players? For example, did Grooms improve his shot in the off season? There are others, but you get the idea.
I realize it won't be easy to form an opinion from only one practice. Just thought it would be fun to talk about our first impressions of the team to kick off a new season.
