In our 1st game we could be playing either the WV-Texas Tech winner or the Texas-Texas Tech winner depending on how the final seeds work out.

Which would you be most concerned about?


Other than Baylor, who else would you worry most about us facing in the Big-12 tournament?

Probably Texas because of their height. It always seems that some guard of Texas' tends to go off on us at strange times after having been mediocre. But, I am more concerned about dealing with height than guards. I don't know that our backup interior players are as capable as at least one or two of our guards.

Wv or TCU.

West Va. and Texas, mainly same as Syb, their length can be a problem.

WV. While Texas' length and rebounding worry me, I am much more concerned with WV's press/pressure. We don't handle that and their quick hands all over the court well-- especially not how we are playing the last 2 games.

I don't understand. All I've read on this board is how over-rated Texas is and Aston can't coach. Now all of a sudden they are the team we should fear????

Well I have never said any of those things, but both teams have beaten us and we don't seem to be rebounding all that well at the moment. So yeah they do concern me right now.

Matchups. It's about matchups. TCU is seeded #3. But, they haven't given us a lot of trouble because they have no height. WV, Texas, and Kansas State have given us some fits due simply to height. We have won four of six against them, but the height gives us problems.

Height is a small part of it with WV, but the majority is just their relentless pressure, quick hands and tenacious attitude on the boards and every inch of the court.

OU's best chance to get the auto bid will be to win in the first game. Could happen, we've been on a cycle that suggests we might play really well.

After all, they ARE 5-1 against the other teams in the top 4.

Same as Baylor, but we beat them last.
