Fears & the NBA Draft Projections

Fears is up to #7 overall on ESPN's just updated top 100 draft prospects

That game against UConn showcased Fears as a legit star talent, you had guys like Stephen A Smith tweeting about him as a superstar player. The way he ran the pick and roll was just unstoppable with his vision and ability to get anywhere on the floor. He’s a lock top 10 and will be a lot of fun to follow in the coming years.

Wolf at 19 is a massive over-estimation. He's got skills, but don't see him as an impactful NBA player unless he can significantly improve his 3 point shooting at the NBA line.

As a 7 footer that can move, rebound, and pass the way he does, it isn't too difficult to see why he'd be coveted by pro teams. And shooting 33-34% from college 3 indicates he is more than capable of developing into a decent 7 foot shooter. There aren't very many of those just floating around.

i think he has a much better chance of being a plus NBA starter then the south Carolina undersized 4 ..

My guesses: Fears goes in the top 4 picks. Wolf and Oweh go in the first round. Uzon goes in the second round and ends up in the G league, and then maybe makes it in the NBA sooner or later.

Moore and Goldin, I'm not sure. More confident in Golden making it on an NBA roster than moore right now. I could see Moore getting drafted in the second round and then ultimately making to the league. He really needs to improve his perimeter shooting. It is too flat, he doesn't elevate to shoot (he is a set shooter), he is way way to slow getting into his shot from a catch. For a perimeter player, his size, handles, lateral quickness and overall skill level (with some work) is good enough. So, I could see a team putting him into their farm system and seeing what he could become. Great kid too.

The steal in the draft in my opinion is Walt clayton at Florida. I have really been impressed with him and think he is going to be a good pro. What do I know, watch him not even get drafted. Most overrated in my opinion, Broome at Auburn. Great college player and for some reason, don't think it will translate to the NBA.

Let’s not go crazy. He isn’t going top 4.

Ill have what you're having. I wish he goes top 4, but I don't think that's very realistic. Also think you're way too high on oweh, uzan, and moore

I’ll guess Fears goes around 7-9. The Raptors and Heat both need a lead guard and he will be the best available.

Oweh & Uzan both enter the draft but withdraw and go back to college. They’re going to make way more money at Houston/Kentucky anyways.

Moore goes undrafted, does summer league and either signs a GLeague contract or overseas.
