I don’t know if Fears will be a star in the NBA. He has too many holes in his game right now. He doesn’t shoot it well enough and he can’t play a lick of defense. BUT he’s very young and NBA teams love that.Who do you guys see going first: Fears or trae johnson. I think both will be nba stars
All depends on the ping pong balls and how the picks slice out. If it is team that needs a PG, I could see Jerimiah getting picked ahead on a team that doesn't need a wing. With that said, if it is best player available, it would make sense to pick Johnson first.Who do you guys see going first: Fears or trae johnson. I think both will be nba stars
NBA teams project 3pt shooting based on FT% and he’s elite in that category. I think getting to work with NBA shooting coaches will be amazing for him.I don’t know if Fears will be a star in the NBA. Can he develop into a knockdown shooter? Of course, he has the tools. Is it a guarantee? No.FT % and form ... and he has both
just for some perspective on how hard it is to get drafted ..
Caleb Love (who I don't love as a player) ..
just finished his career with these to stat line games
against oregon 29 9 and 4 on 10-18 5-7 and 4-4 played 37 min
and against duke 35 4 and 1 on 11-21 5-11 and 8-9 played 40 min
he is not in the ESPN top 100 prospects ..
because he will be 24 before the NBA season starts .. and he is not a great shooter
Already talking like a man that loves the Triangle area. Lol.He’s kid I’d take a chance on! Tough as nails

The not a good shooter part is there also. You may be right, Boulder, but I can't help thinking age is not the biggest reason Love is not a top-100 prospect. Buddy Hield turned 24 shortly after his NBA career started, and he was selected #6 overall. Austin Reaves was probably not much younger, and he's developed far better than anyone could have reasonably predicted.
Ahh...missed that. Yeah, Buddy didn't have that issueThe not a good shooter part is there also.
6.
Jeremiah Fears, PG, Oklahoma
Freshman | TS%: 57.0%
Fears emerged as a top freshman despite being one of the youngest players in college basketball (he turns 19 in October). His combination of size, speed, pace, shotmaking and shot creation gives him significant long-term upside, as he gets anywhere he wants on the floor, either to create opportunities for teammates while dishing on the move, to finish skillfully in the lane or to get to the free throw line.
The Nets have a significant void in their backcourt, and Fears' youth and talent could make him a player they'd want to closely study. -- Givony
Fears moves up two spots on our board from our last check-in as he has created significant buzz in NBA circles, based on conversations we've had with scouts and executives at recent events such as the Nike Hoop Summit, NCAA Final Four and Portsmouth Invitational.
We recently got a dose of what NBA teams are about to witness in private settings watching Fears work out in New York City alongside the likes of Kam Jones, Boogie Fland, Hunter Sallis and Karter Knox under the guidance of trainer, agent and former NBA player Mike Miller. Fears is rapidly progressing physically and athletically, while his jumper is coming along nicely. His age, upside and fluidity and creativity with the ball will cause every team in the top seven to want a take a deep look at him in the predraft process to make sure they aren't missing out on significant star potential.
NBA teams say Fears' star power will be hard to pass up in the middle portion of the lottery, even for teams that have established point guard options in place. His combination of size, speed, pace, shot creation, shotmaking and scoring instincts make him one of the draft's most talented prospects. He gets anywhere he wants on the floor, either to create opportunities for teammates dishing on the move, finish skillfully in the lane or get to the free throw line in bunches. -- Givony
