Well, you were wrong about the last reason. There are plenty of other boards where you can go to see hot chicks.

There is a difference between ogling pictures of anonymous girls or celebrities and ogling pictures of someone who is supposedly the girlfriend of a former OU player. If you can't understand that difference, that speaks volumes about your maturity level.

Lol, some of you take this internet stuff way to seriously....Some of you act like being a moderator is a actual job and treat it as so....We are all here to have a good time, learn about OU basketball and ex OU players...and what they are doing with their life...

If saying blakes supposive gf is super hot makes me childish then I dont want to grow up. Face it, most men would take a double look in real life when she walks by...women know this.

Every operator of a web board has the right to decide upon the tone and tenor he or she wishes that site to abide by. This one has always leaned toward being family-friendly and making women feel welcome. If that doesn't work for you, there are other boards. But if you like it here, you'll respect for the wishes of the owner and moderators.

I happen to operate a non-sports email discussion group, and I work very hard to keep the discussion on topic and civil. People may squawk about my methods (though they usually don't), but the results speak for themselves -- the group's been going since 1994 and continues to grow in size. It's very rare that anyone leaves the group.

People appreciate a well-moderated, civil environment in which to interact with like-minded people online. There are plenty of no-holds-barred sites out there for those who are looking for that.

I'm guessing, if you read the thread a bit more carefully, you'll find some remarks you might not appreciate being directed to, say, your daughter, your sister, your mother, or your wife or girlfriend.

Any woman can tell you that supposedly "complimentary" comments can be inappropriate and invasive, too.

That's just being hyper-sensitive, but whatever.

A successful non-sports e-mail discussion group? Wow, you're the Steve Jobs of online innovation.

Lol, I had to stop laughing before posting a response...I do think you deserve a trophy for having such a great Email discussion group....

I do agree however that people like well moderated boards and I think for the most part ours do a great job.

About staying on topic....I thought we were staying on topic for that thread??

We should start a petition to elect skyvue as the next moderator on ouhoops. He deserves it.

I would hate ... HATE ... for someone to say my wife looks good in a bikini. I mean how degrading can you get. If anyone is going be complimentary of my wife in a bikini, that anyone will be me and no one else. I pity the man who thinks my wife is hot.

Who complained about the Blake GF thread?

People need to remember that boys with testosterone poisoning aren't the only people who read this board. Children and families of players and recruits also read this board.

As far as moderation goes, this board allows the posters a lot of leeway. If there are further questions, you can refer to the Forum Rules here:

Internet Mommy: That's the most insane thing I've ever seen on this board. That thread was completely tame. You and Sky have fun throwing your Bibles and moral judgement from your twin high horses.

I showed my gf a picture of blames supposive girl and her exact words "wow, she is really hot"

So I think women needed to be added to that list as well.

I'm closing this and re-opening the other thread.

I don't see anything wrong with it. If the comments get out of hand, then I'll lock it later on down the line. The picture is nothing more than you or your kids would see at the local swimming pool. I just showed it to my wife and she said "She's pretty. I wish I had her boobs." FWIW.

Sorry to those that disagree, and you can feel free to pm me.
