Fire Porter Moser

I don't care who it is just as long as Moser is gone. I have never been this low on any team in our athletic program. I think eight losses in a row has got to be a record for the school as well. These are not records any coach at this University should have, regardless of sport. This is the most depressing season, mainly because this was the most optimism I had in about 5 years going into a season, but these transfers just can't play well together and it's got to be Moser...

Does anyone have a link to the post game presser? I'd be interested in what his excuses were today...

10 straight is the record. Happened 62 years ago.

I really feel bad for Porter. I think he’s maybe a jerk but has tried pretty hard to make this work.

I’m okay with taking that chance. If a coach is attractive to be lured to a bigger, blue-chip program after success here, it means that coach has elevated our program to much greater heights than it is now. And at that point should be attractive to plenty other candidates.

A win-win and worth the risk. Much better off than we are now.

OU must move on from Moser. I trust they will by end of this season.

I do have my doubts that ou can retain a coveted coach long term, however. Of course that shouldn’t stop the admin from trying to find/retain such a coach.

He's actually a good guy. Great family guy and positive outside of work. Hate that it didn't work because he's a great representative of the program. But he's not a good enough basketball coach to consistently lead a power conference team to the tournament. Doesn't coach the small things well enough, doesn't hold players accountable, doesn't know how to build / develop players throughout the year / their career, etc. Caught lightning in a bottle twice.

I heard in the postgame where he was talking about along quick shots late in the game without “making the other team guard us.” Brown does seem to do that a lot. But he clearly doesn’t hold Brown accountable.
