Fire Porter Moser

It's just too bad OU doesn't care about basketball, or he'd be gone this year. He will likely get a raise and extension for running a clean program with no NCAA issues. Pathetic how far OU has fallen.

I’ve kind of bought into Calhoun as option A. But either is a good reset.
You still need to find ways to get more than 6 million for the roster construction. When other teams are at 10+ million, any potential coaches worth a damn are going to ask for that.

Right, although it doesnt appear to be a major opening market this year. So some of those guys will take it and just try to get a boost to a bigger job.

I mean heck even Porter made the tourney and was the first team left out of a couple with that budget. Surely a couple of these guys think they are good for 2-3 more wins than porter just based off coaching.

I mean Men's basketball will be around the 3 million mark for Rev share, just have to fundraise for the remainder of the roster.

It still makes me laugh each Nov and Dec as we struggle to put away some of these teams, and some posters (and Manzer) will claim they "aren't that bad" and/or "we just lost focus for part of the game." Third possibility: we are really poorly coached and the struggles in those games are an obvious sign we are in for a world of hurt in conference play. It's almost as if the metrics that people mock are actually a good predictive tool!!

at this point we will likely end up with 0 good wins.
looking at the schedul....we may not win another one until georgia.

i see georgia/a&m/LSU/auburn as our only winnable games left on the schedule.
if we have a really hot shooting night...there might be one other w but that's unexpected and unpredictable.

Well, his worst team was the one that smoked Bama IIRC. So there will likely be an out-of-nowhere performance or two where we win because we play over our heads and/or the other team is mentally checked out playing against the conference doormat. But those wins won't mean anything.
