Fire Porter Moser

I am on the younger side; this is just the absolute worst feeling I have ever had about OU basketball. I felt better with Capel. I still will watch every game, but this is painful. It’s quite literally the definition of insanity. Expecting a different result, yet the same things occurring over and over again. We hired Browns stepdad, we gave Brown the keys, and he just is not good enough in my opinion. He is not bad, just not enough. We refuse to recruit true big men who have a legitimate inside presence. Out of time outs or plays where you need a bucket, we just are the worst.

He is the worst coach in 40 years. An absolute fraud. He knows nothing about basketball

It gets lost in the shuffle of all his other massive failures, but his handling of Atak is just reprehensible. And sadly representative of his decision making. Look at his game log. Lit it up in our first conference game and was a huge reason why we won. Struggled in a tiny sample size the next game and essentially hasn’t played since.

So true. The lack of defense argument holds no water when your opponent just shot 80% in 2nd half in your house.

That is the crap i cant stand. A real leader doesnt do these things in public.
He did it to explain why its not his fault and to avoid accountability. Hes had an extremely long runway in a sport that fires coaches routinely after 2 year spells (which we could have done for little to no $ - thanks Joe Castiglione)

the players hear that and the only question is which players quit on him now....and which ones quit after the next loss

I really really really don’t see the point in keeping him around until the end of the year
The only viable reason to let him coach out the season is if the players haven't quit on him. Since most of our losses are at least "competitive", they may as well let him coach out the season. Of course, the next game we lose by 20+ they may pull the plug.

it's the final stage of denial before a coach is fired.
he's desperately trying to convince people that he's not the problem
yeah the dam is breaking and the frustration in pouring out some here. Being in the building cannot be fun right now especially still waiting a couple more weeks before Denny officially takes over. the next 5-6 weeks as fans is going to suck until we hear OU is moving on from PM.

I disagree. The announcers pointed out multiple times we were lazy trying to get over screens. Loser himself was whining about Davis and Mo needing to play harder and better on defense. We have managed to lose multiple games recently when we shot the 3 much better than our opponent. Those things don’t happen repeatedly if you consistently play hard.
