Braeuer is originally from Austin and played for Mark Turgeon at Wichita State. Assistant to Grant McCasland at both North Texas and Texas Tech.

Brad Underwood went from SFA directly to OSU before skipping out to Illinois after a year.

The last coach OU hired from the Southland Conference did pretty well, though it was a different era. Billy Tubbs came from Lamar.

My concern with Brauer is he’s only been a head coach for 1 year. Could be great or could be moser.
