Fitz is a big time player

I thought the game plan was good. We took away their best option and forced them to beat us with the long ball which they did. At one point they shot over 70% from 3 point land, which is really good in horse and super duper in a live game. It is not as if a doubling a big means the perimeter can't be defended at all.

I think Grooms is doing very well. True he doesn't threaten a defense with his shot, but after years of seeing OU not be able to bring the ball up the court against any press, Groom's ability to play the PG position without turning it over hardly at all is a huge bonus.

Agree that this team would be NCAA bound with Newell. He was the most natural player we had. Too bad.

It looks like they need a 3-point gunner on the wing as well. They need to recruit over Cameron Clark it looks like. Guy cant shoot to save his life, nor can he handle the ball.

Cam would be a great player to come off the bench and play 15 minutes a game. He would play tough defense, rebound, and score somme points but I agree at this point he does not have a strong enough game to be the three when OU has a pg that is not a good shooter.
