Flopper to the Celtics with the 6th Pick

Promise I'm not going to do this all season, but he had a pretty nice game tonight.

7 of 14, 4-8 from three, and 5-5 from the line. 23 points. 4 rebounds. 5 assists. No turnovers. And 2 steals.

Solid.

Great game. Almost looks like a typical Blake game ;)

Smart played 35 minutes and was +13 while Rondo only played 21 minutes and was -15. Wall was lighting up Rondo & Smart hung right with him forcing a bunch of turnovers. Stud. Especially coming off a month layoff due to a bad ankle sprain.

Rondo cannot stay in front of his man. Never has been able to. Luckily for the C's, KG masked that deficiency. But now that we (they) have no rim protector, Rondo is getting exposed.

I like Rondo. But he is not the superstar that some make him out to be.

You can't emphasize what a big deal it is for Smart, 8 games into his rookie year coming off a monthlong injury, being able to go mano a mano with John Wall on the road. The ability to play 25+ minutes against the Nets, Mavs and Wizards without a single turnover is pretty amazing.

You would think Rondo is used as trade bait. But you never know. The Celts are not far away.

Welp, Rondo has been traded to the Mavs, it's Marcus Smart's team now I guess.
