  • Florida has won their last 4 games, and has favorable match-ups in the next 2 to push the winning streak to 6 games.
  • Dayton has won 7 of their last 10.
  • Wofford is on a 15 game winning streak
  • North Texas has reached 20 wins but is on a 3-4 game losing streak

Of course, OU lost to Wisconsin who is in the top 20 but its still a good game in the non-con.

But some of these other wins look much better than they did a few weeks ago. Wasn't long ago Florida was around .500 and now they might reel off 6 in a row... Wofford is clearly the best team in their league... etc.

When its all said and done 4-5 of those wins are going to look pretty darn good.

on the other hand, Notre Dame, Creighton and Wich State are kinda in the dumper.

USC is having an average to respectable conference season in the Pac last time i checked.....but the Pac is really weak with UCLA and U of A down and even UW, which has already clinched a share of the title with only 1 loss.....was bad against quality OOC opponents

but i like the post.

I would say Creighton and Northwestern are the real bummers... Wichita State has been a really good mid-major lately and they suck this year, but you didn't expect that from Creighton and Northwestern.

Northwestern is in last place in the Big 10, is 12-15, and has lost like 9 games in a row.

Creighton is one game off of last place in the Big East.

Our strength of schedule still stands at #12, so that's still a plus for us.

i forgot NW. they looked like they might return to NCAA form of couple years ago early on...or be pretty salty***.....but like you say, in last in the Big 10.

***looking it up, were 8-3 against us and had 2 point L's to Mighigan and @Indiana with W's over Ga Tech and Utah

I don't mind if Dayton continues to win, but I don't want them winning the A-10 Tournament. VCU is the only bubble team in the A-10 conference as of now and it would be in our best interest if they went ahead and won the conference tournament as well.

Other teams like Gonzaga, Wofford, Washington, and Buffalo also need to win their conference tournaments too.....as all of those teams are getting into the tournament no matter what they do in their conference tournaments. So with their help, hopefully bubble chaos can be avoided.

And Creighton is playing better of late, but they dug too big of a hole for themselves to really get back into any type of bubble consideration. ND and Northwestern pretty much suck.
