then you really need to use internet feeds.

Aside from internet cost you can get access to the feeds for absolutely nothing. I can watch every televised game in the country (all regions) just using the internet. For free. No blackouts. No regional restrictions.

Just run it to your TV.

Where are you getting these feeds?

no, I am not going to advertise for anyone. feeds are all over the internet.

Horrendous picture quality, potential buffering, minutes behind the live feed. I'll stick to watching on TV.

Most definitely if you have it available on TV. But if not it's a free option and:

1. pic isn't always horrendous but I dont care that much about watching every game in HD so I am not the best source there.

2. I have NO buffering problems and my feeds are without the broadcast delay so mine are in front of the "live feed" by 5 seconds.

Yep I got rid of cable years ago and don't miss any games

Live feeds are usually around 30 seconds behind on normal action.

exactly. When the FCC made the rule that cable companies had to offer local options my carrier put out a package for those leaving that gives you basic cable and high Speed (ha) internet for a price LESS than the high speed internet alone. $60/month. Saving me $200/month. when I was going to just have internet alone it was $65.

$40/month unlimited phone.
$60/month internet/TV

always looking to tighten that budget.

I got rid of roku, hulu, netflix etc... because I use watchseries and putlocker for free. I do have amazon but only bc I use it for shipping.

I pay extra for internet to limit streaming hickups and still have netflix and amazonprime with slingtv.

Sometimes it's nice to be able to just turn to a channel, hit record and watch it without searching for it online, putting your internet condom on, ect.

The ability to record and re-watch can't be overlooked.

1. internet security isnt a condom. condoms are temporary. internet security is your bones. should be on all the time.

2. you can do all of those things with a computer as well (recording and rewatching). in fact, you can save each game for decades.

oh please. you guys are so spoiled that you will only watch games in super HD?

I would rather WATCH the game in 720 than not because it's not higher.

Aren't you an attorney or something? You should be able to afford cable.

Life is too short to pinch pennies at EVERY corner. I'm a busy man. Having cable is fast and easy, and like others mentioned, I can record shows/games if I'm working later or whatever.

It's not about affordability. I can afford cable at 15 bucks an hour. But it isn't worth the price.
