I don't think Mawein can play the 4 (or the 3). So far, hasn't he only played the 5? He doesn't move all that well either, unfortunately.

I try not to get too hung up on positions. If a player can score a little, rebound and play defense better than someone else, why not give him a chance to prove himself? That’s what I’m saying about Mawein. He hasn’t been given much of a chance.

You already know that very few teams have a legit five these days. Most of the players are guards, wings and forwards—sometimes guards and forwards only. Villanova won a natty with all or mostly guards starting at every position. Are the guards playing out of position called fours and fives?

That’s a serious question. I didn’t realize that Mawein had only played the five. When he’s in the game he’s just a basketball player to me. Guess I’m not savvy enough to notice a difference.
