Comparing him to Woodard is pointless. Our whole defensive scheme was built to take Forte out of the offense. A great 3-point shooter is always nice to have, especially if you lack a good frontcourt.

No it wasn't.

Forte got picked up at half court and was guarded hard out to 30 feet every possession. Taking Forte out of their offense was a huge emphasis by our D. We knew we could bang with Nash, get in his head like usual, and they didn't have anybody else that was a serious threat.
