When the word "install" is used, that's when I step aside and leave it to those guys. :)

Anyway, that sounds easy/cheap so I've emailed our hosting guys to get it done.

Sorry this took so long. I just have a lot more stuff going on in my life than when I started this site and I haven't been able to give it much time lately.
 
I'm working on getting this done. Email out to the hosting company for the second straight day for them to install this. It will get done eventually. Hopefully this week.
 
OK, contact has been made. Not sure when they will get to it, but it should happen soon.

Tapatalk is an app that enables the board to be read much easier on your phone.

The app costs $2.99 (none of that goes to OUHoops) so it may not be for everyone, but I've heard a lot of good things about it.

I believe Land Thieves has this option for their forums.

Not yet, but it will eventually.

Our hosting company was going to install it. They didn't and I forgot about it. About the time it dawned on me it hadn't been done, they were hacked (somehow we're still running but their home page and some of their other sites aren't). So I'll put the request back in again when they get everything fixed.

Lame, I know, but true story.

OUHoops is out of the country right now on a well-deserved vacation with his family. I'm sure he will follow up on this when he returns. Please be patient.

Well, actually you have been patient. But all of you know as well as I do that when you're relying on someone else (in this case the hosting company) to do a job, there is not much you can do but pester the life out of them, and wait. :)
 
Sounds like this could give a boost to OUhoops traffic & usage based on this review.

His hosting company may charge extra to turn on the mobile version that allows tapatalk to plug in. In that case it's not worth it.

If so, I doubt if he'll want to tack on more expense to the monthly fee he's already paying for a site with no source of revenue.

But, what do I know? I still can't believe he has continued to take money out of his own pocket every month the past three and a half years, not to mention the start up costs when the site was launched? :facepalm
 
This must be done because I was redirected to the app store to buy the $2.99 tapatalk app this morning.

So should I buy it? The site has always worked fine on my iPhone & iPad.

As boca says, the Ap to use the tapatalk feature isn't free. So if you're fine with how the site has been running on your iPhone etc, then you can bypass that option.

Some people swear by using it and now they have that option.
