Freshmen returning

As many of you know, just about all of the team went home a week ago for a 2 week break. I think it is interesting that Maddie, Shaya, and Derica are headed back to Norman today, a week early. That is a strong indication they want to spend time working out and getting more practice time in the gym. You really have to pull for girls like that who are that dedicated to getting better.

I'm impressed, that tells me those three are really serious about earning their stripes and wanting some playing time. Not surprised about Maddie, been hearing some really good things about Derica, she may be a surprise. We shall see in a couple of months.

Having seen games with Derica and Shaya, I think both may surprise---a lot.

Well, I think we would all agree that the team and fans are do for a few nice surprises.

I sure think Maddie, if she's 100 percent, is going to be a huge difference maker for us next season.

I hope the other two are half as good as her and we might be ok.

Also, you have to consider. The others live in OKC. Its a easy drive for them. I am sure they will be getting in some time.

You could be right about the OKC players, I haven't heard from them.

Kornet is the only one I read who said she isn't coming back early.
