travel woes have to benefit us. Wasn't it last year we had a hella time getting to Morgantown? Ying and yang. Things even out.

I like us by 6-8 but it will be tight. Thoughts?

Unless we shoot poorly or turn the ball over more than we normally do, TCU just doesn't have the offense to push us to the wire today. Again, we would need to play poorly in several areas for this to be tight.

They turn it into a half court grinder ala K State don't need much O. They are capable have 4-5 quality players.

Yep...you were right. This OU team is complete mystery to me. With all that we have to play for, we come out and give a less than quality effort. TCU is playing better and hitting some shots, but this sh!t performance thus far falls squarely on our guys not being focused and having the energy needed to play at a high level.

And unfortunately probably foreshadowing for the NCAA Tourney

For whatever reason, this has been an annual occurrence, unexplained losses, since LK arrived. We are, of course, a much, much better team in that time frame but these unexplained losses are puzzling. Especially, with so much on the line but again, we've seen the same before. I don't know the answer.

I don't think we gave a bad effort; I think we didn't shoot well in the first half, but I never felt we weren't putting forth effort. It was one of those weird games where the ball seemed to be taking weird bounces throughout and in the first half, most of the weird bounces went TCU's way.

I also think you and others are underestimating TCU. They were 3-1 over the last four games entering Saturday's game, and their one loss was at KU. And guess what, KU had just as much trouble with them as we did. So what you attribute to a poor performance on our part had just as much to do with a Horned Frogs team that is playing its best ball right now, but some of our fans seem unwilling to give credit where it's due.

We've won eight of the last nine, and the one game we lost saw KSU being coddled by the officials to such a degree that it was something of a scandal, and not just among Sooner fans -- even the Dallas Morning News wrote abut it.

Does it matter, then, that that many of those eight wins were tight games? Would you trade another loss or two over that nine-game stretch for larger margins of victory in some of the other games?

I sure wouldn't.

Just keep gutting out the wins, boys.
