Future Sooners

Midwest City won their game over Norman North tuesday 56-45, but Kaylon Williams did not play due to illiness.

Star Spencer beat Centennial 46-39, but I could not find any info on how Sharane Campbell did.

No results were posted in Texas on tuesdays Brock/Peaster game, but I did notice that Nicole Kornet had 37 points in Liberty Christians win.
Don't know the exact score, but Brock won big. Kamy had 20 points.

When I saw Star Spencer play last month Sharane Campbell was drawing double teams. Last season they had another good player, but she graduated. I've only seen her play in one game, but she reminded me of how Rose Hammond was in high school.

I hope Sharane can take her talents to the D-1 level and compete. In high school I thought Rose was destined for a solid career at the college level, but she just didn't have the toughness. I really liked Rose, hope she is doing well.

I was hoping for good things from Rose as well but it seemed to me, from what little I saw of her, that she just wasn't as aggressive as she needed to be at the D-1 level. She was not without talent. She was a pretty good athlete but she played as though she didn't want to make a mistake rather than turning it loose. I also hope she is doing well.

#18 6A Orange Park lost at #8 4A Bartrum Trail 43-53. Orange park fell behind in the 1st. period 14-22, they fought back within' 6 points by the half trailing 22-28, but fell behind by 10 after 3 periods 32-42 and couldn't get any closer.
OU signee Katherine Zander and 2 other Orange Park players each had 10 points, but only 2 other players on the team even scored.

No 3 point win this time around for Ankeny as they handed (#11 4A) Johnston a 15 point loss even with using the reserves enough to get 24 points from the bench.
Harden and the starters built a 27-11 halftime lead and reserves pretty much took care of the rest of the game.

Led by OU Signee Sharane Campbell, Star Spencer's good showing at the Bruce Gray Invitational was enough to have the team rebound in the polls. How do you find this stuff? I can't even find it in Texas, and I'm not that far from Brock..
