Watching the ESPN crap I had on dvr and they keep saying OU was one of the teams on the bubble. NO. If we had been a 11 or 12 seed but OU was clearly in the tourney in the eyes of the committee and that is the only set of eyes that matter.

OSU was on the bubble until the last few days and then they weren’t even on the bubble LOL. Play a better schedule OSU and don’t get swept by Baylor TCU and KState.

agreed. they didnt have OU on the bubble at all. the committee chair said OU lost seeding but they've been in the tourney all along thanks to the quadrant 1 wins. the bubble talk came from pundits.

Disagree. We were a bubble team. The chairman said there was serious, heated discussions about OU and we were part of about 20 at large teams that they discussed. That is a bubble team

nope. they were in on the strength of their early schedule and the losses merely affected their seeding. Barkley complained to him that they (OU) must have been really well seeded to start and he (the committee chairman) said they were and remarked how high their ranking was based on quality wins. They were NOT on the bubble.

I listened to the interview. I got the impression there was serious discussion about OU...and not just seeding discussion. If you don't think there were committee members that thought we shouldn't be in, I think that is pretty naive.

C'mon, any at-large school with a double-digit seed can be classified as a bubble team. They're in a group of the last 10-12 schools selected. If the criteria for getting selected while being on the bubble is just the "last 4 in", that's not much of a bubble. In that case, we've only been on the bubble in 1997 and 1999.
