UConn just probably lost Mosqueda-Lewis for the year. Down to roster of 9.
The Tenn vs UNC game is really sloppy.
UCONN is unbelievable. Might as well engrave the NC trophy now.
They didn't necessarily start off the game that well, but they picked it up in the second half. However, I don't look at this team and say "Wow, no team can beat them"
And remember - A LOT of people said the same thing about Baylor last year.
UConn certainly showed their depth last night, but if Mosqueda-Lewis is out for the year this team will lose a BIG part of their offense. And if they have any other injuries or struggle with foul trouble - they could have some problems this year because their bench is quality but not very deep.
Certainly hoping for the best for Mosqueda-Lewis. Sherri had a lot of great things to say about her from the summer. Injured arm is her shooting arm and would hate for it be a serious injury. The screams were certainly disturbing and reminiscent of what you hear with ACL's.
Mosqueda-Lewis out indefinitely and Morgan Tuck out for 4-6 weeks after knee surgery leaves them with 7 scholarship players. I just thinks that's a small roster to say they are guaranteed to repeat. We all know how injuries can come out of nowhere. They play Maryland and Penn State this weekend so I guess we will see how affective they can be with the smaller roster. Foul trouble may become an issue for them.

Nerve contusion to her shooting arm. For one of the best shooters in America - it's something you hate to hear and was definitely difficult to watch. There isn't really a time frame on the recovery for it. They listed anything from weeks, months, or years to fully recover.
