Since stats/metrics don't matter to a few on here (just win baby.....rolls eyes), below are some of the losses for Miss. Valley State:
by 51 to UAB
by 48 to Murray State
by 28 to Hawaii
by 36 to A*M
by 59 to Kansas State
by 25 to Tarleton State
by 47 to Florida State
by 35 to West Virginia

And only one of the above teams (A*M) is ahead of us in Kenpom....and they are just 2 spots ahead of us. After the half we played.....let those results above sink in.

He's constantly bumping his man. I actually thought their last time out on the inbounds play was a foul call on him.

They went from 65% to 52% in just the last few minutes. Need that to keep steeply dropping early in second half.

I guess they weren’t banking in 3’s those games. Now we’ve had a few defensive lapses…but a few of those that went in were fortunate.

I expect us to open it up in the 2nd half and win by 30+.

Agreed. Very well put. If we go 10-8 or 11-7 in the league and have a few solid wins it would make up did this non conference that I would put as a C- maybe D+

I hope you're right, buy our M.O. this season is terrible 3-pt % defense (#257 in the country). Thus, we don't guard perimeter shots very well and even bad teams can occasionally hit open shots. This is a function of intensity, effort, and knowing where you need to be. We now have 12 data points for this....it shouldn't be a surprise, but I was hoping for just marginal improvement. It still sucks.
