NORMAN — After losing back-to-back games for the first time this season, Oklahoma (11-5, 1-2 SEC) plays the first of two home games this week when it hosts No. 19/20 and reigning national champion Florida (11-5, 2-1) on Tuesday at 8 p.m. CT.

Tuesday's game will be televised by ESPN2 with Karl Ravech (play-by-play) and Jimmy Dykes (analyst) announcing. It will air on the Sooner Sports Radio Network (KRXO 107.7 FM in Oklahoma City; KTBZ 1430 AM in Tulsa; Varsity Radio App) with Toby Rowland and Kevin Henry on the call.

yeah...there will be games where we shoot lights out from 3 at home and the visiting team won't be able to put the ball in the ocean from a boat.
might be this game...might be the next.
florida isn't exceptional this year. but they're better than us.
odds are another L.

UF is one of the five worst 3-pt shooting teams in the country. I’m guessing we will find a way to make them look much better than that.

They have a dominant frontcourt. Lead the nation in rebounding. Mo can’t get dumb fouls. We probably won’t be able to go with a small lineup at all so we need at least one of our centers to be effective.

I watched them make about 10 against Tennessee - clutch ones to pull away. I expect the same tonight and also outrebound us like 3:1

Currently based on EvanMiya (our highest rated efficiency rankings by far across all services):

Also our best 5 man lineup, (small sample size of 26 poss) is Brown, Davis, Jones, Reid, Wague. Athletic defenders produces the best efficiency margin and we barely use it.

Florida is a much better team than OU. I expect an easy Florida win. I have lost all faith in moser and the chips are down so we’ll see how they respond. I’m also afraid the crowd will be pathetic on a Tuesday night and we will have no home court advantage.
OU is gonna win this for sure.

I hear ya, but if you look at who takes a high volume of their 3’s, Lee & Fland have not shot the 3 ball well at all this year, but are historically decent shooters from there. So they are both very capable.

I listened to Tyler Neal's pod recapping the A&M game. I think he is much higher on the roster than I am -- specifically, the bench. He thinks Moser has too short a leash with the subs and that those guys are probably scared to make a mistake because they feel like they will be given a quick hook. There are times when I would agree with that, but on this team, I think Dayton and JN need to be on a very short leash (if it were up to me, JN's leash would be short enough that he couldn't even leave the bench). I don't think Jones is on a short leash. I think that our starters are so much better than our subs (Mo is the wild card, depending mainly on fouls) that I would play the starters very heavy minutes, Jones would always get a good amount of run, and Atak and the backup fives would get some playing time. I agree with people who think that the way he used Atak Saturday was bizarre -- not a lot of PT or shots, then sticks him in there and runs a set for him on the most critical possession of the game.

I don't think one mistake should get a guy pulled. I liked how Lon would let guys play through most mistakes. But JN and Dayton have been so bad for so long, and JN plays so selfishly and recklessly almost every time he gets on the court, that I don't think you can continue letting those guys hurt you.

I haven't listened to the most recent episode. But I get the feeling that podcast is going to be pretty sunshiny. And if that is the case, I probably won't be a subscriber long
