GAME 25 - OKLAHOMA (16-8) vs LSU (12-12) 5:00pm CST on SECNETWORK

I'll give you this. One thing we can agree on. I have never liked PMs inbound plays. None of them. I think they are atrocious....especially our Blobs under our own basket. Ever pass is a lob to half court.....its trash.
Same with inbounding under pressure. We struggle getting it in sometimes.

I think Moore was, at best, the third option. He got the ball and made a piss-poor choice and it killed us.
I may be a moron, but id prolly not have a forward being an option at all and instead would have either my supposed lottery pick PG, Forsyth who may have the best IQ on the team, or really any other guard on the team before Moore or any forward.

I'll give this to pm, he didn't have sam Godwin or wague catching it. Genius

Fire him tonight. I don’t give a damn that we are on the bubble.

No one can have any faith now, and a reminder this is the same guy who has tried to leave for other jobs twice. Fire him now.
We’re on the back end of the bubble now

If he misses the tournament for the 4th straight year he’s gone.
Steve don't hang your hat on that.. Joe c has effed the football program with bv's extension and football is the only thing that matters

Good point. His name has been linked to both Notre Dame and DePaul. He doesn’t want to be at OU.

My point was it was never supposed to go to Moore. It went to him because the other options weren't there...he was coming back to help...not to be the primary ball handler. A 100% common thing to do....everything after that was a disaster.

Take a timeout then. Or after he catches it. Or put in another guard as your 3rd option instead of Moore. Just absolutely crazy

You do raise a good point of another error of pm's. He lets fears and other guards dog it to get open on inbounds plays. It's a competitive issue, but pm let's them be lazy. Make yourself be unguardable getting the inbounds pass. It will open up Everyone else more too.

One funny thing lost in all this. Did you guys notice Northweather get in the game for the last play. So he sits the ENTIRE game and then Moser puts him in for that last play. Amazing.
He has a full court pass package that northweather is part off. Happed in another game as well.

Yes. It is on PM. Has Moore never been in the backcourt before in his life? Has pm never once coached this scenario in practice? Why does pm have a guy catching the ball that apparently is scared of bringing up the ball, instead of a point guard? Why not take a timeout if you know or are worried that Moore was going to turn it over? Why wasn't a PG going to Moore to get the ball?

Dude what are you talking about? Do the players run things? I thought pm decided things
Moore had brought ball up court multiple times this season. Should he is a good question but that is not the first time. Moore still had his dribble and all he had to do was dribble up court, he stood there expecting a foul, just like feers a couple plays earlier.

My team was up 2 with less than 20 seconds a couple weeks ago. My PG goes down and I put SR guard in for him.
During the timeout I tell them to get a stop and when we get the ball call and immediate time out.
We get a RB with 12 seconds left and before I get a chance to call timeout (and without them doing what I said and call TO immediately) the SR throws a pass directly to the opponent....then fouls the kid on a layup (he misses the layup) but then gets a tech for forearming the kid after the play. They get 4 FTs and the ball.

We end up losing by 1 in double OT.

So was that loss on me because the kid veers off of what we were supposed to do?

You can prepare as much as possible. But, in the heat of the play bad mistakes are going to happen.

We are not on the bubble. That bubble burst tonight. We’re gonna lose every game left, probably by more than 20. There is no reason to allow moser to coach another game. It’s over. Pull the plug.
