Got a chance to watch the game just now. Here is a classic example of a losing team. Up 6 with 8:30 to play. Sam Wofford Godwin misses a wide open layup. They come down and Godwin fouls a guy for a four-point play. Six point swing because Sam is an atrocious player and our team as a whole is dumb as a box of rocks.

It wasn’t just the last minute of the game that killed us. We shot 3-18 from three and gave up 53 points in the second half. The entire second half was a patented Moser meltdown. And LSU is a short-handed team who was even more depleted after one of their starters had back spasms in pregame and didn’t play. It doesn’t get much worse than this loss.

That’s exactly right. Another season is not an option if we have, or want to have, a competitive athletic department.

You cannot as an AD make a move to the SEC then operate like you’re in the Mountain West.
