GAME 25 - OKLAHOMA (16-8) vs LSU (12-12) 5:00pm CST on SECNETWORK

I was so wrong about Moore. Thought he would be an NBA guy. Clearly wrong on that.
He doesn't shoot well enough, defend well enough, or have the intangibles to play at that level, IMO. I love his desire, but I don't see anything he does well enough at his size to be effective in the NBA. He can probably make money at a lower level....

One funny thing lost in all this. Did you guys notice Northweather get in the game for the last play. So he sits the ENTIRE game and then Moser puts him in for that last play. Amazing.

I literally said to myself "oh, now he comes in?" when he took that ball out. Dumbfounding. And, he didn't even come in to be a tall catch and shoot threat. Idk.

I'm high and YOU'RE the one saying your best player making two ignorant plays at the end of a game is on PM? Get real.

Sometimes even great players make stupid mistakes. Moore made two doozies.
Yes. It is on PM. Has Moore never been in the backcourt before in his life? Has pm never once coached this scenario in practice? Why does pm have a guy catching the ball that apparently is scared of bringing up the ball, instead of a point guard? Why not take a timeout if you know or are worried that Moore was going to turn it over? Why wasn't a PG going to Moore to get the ball?

Dude what are you talking about? Do the players run things? I thought pm decided things

We’re gonna lose every remaining game by 20+.
Hell, I’m at the point of rooting FOR that. I don’t have any faith that, short of that, Joe will do anything about this. The absolute lack of accountability and responsibility for this program’s downfall is appalling. Any sort of real leadership would have terminated Moser as he went into the tunnel. But given how our athletic department operates the two Joes will probably extend Moser in celebration for having had a 13 point lead today. Unserious program led by unserious men.

All of this.

It would be one thing if the Moore sequence at the end was something that never happens. The issue is that it happens far too often, with far too many players, for far too many years. Not an isolated thing. It's one of the few constants of a Porter Moser OU team. Stupid plays, decisions, effort, etc.

I'm 100% on board with PM being shown the door. I'm with alot of you on it...even the ones who I don't agree with on the discussion.

But you know it isn't happening today. It will be the end of the season IF Joe C does it at all

I was just like you that that few minutes...and cursed my tv like crazy the last 30 seconds. Very disheartening

I didn’t watch the game but reading the thread I was wondering why the hell Moore was bringing the ball up

I'll give you this. One thing we can agree on. I have never liked PMs inbound plays. None of them. I think they are atrocious....especially our Blobs under our own basket. Ever pass is a lob to half court.....its trash.
Same with inbounding under pressure. We struggle getting it in sometimes.

I think Moore was, at best, the third option. He got the ball and made a piss-poor choice and it killed us.

If only we had competitive NIL, Moore wouldn't have passed the ball through 3 lanes of traffic of defenders while winning and having a timeout and hardly any pressure on him...
