I think Davis has been, by far, the biggest bust of the four transfers. We knew who Pack was -- a good/great shooter who would struggle defensively and not be a factor on nights when his shot was off. Brown, for the most part, has done very well. He has had several poor games but overall has been as good as you could hope offensively after making the leap in competition. Reid has not been spectacular and I don't watch him and immediately think "wow, this guy is a future NBA stud, no wonder he was a McDonald's AA," but he is a solid player for a guy playing his first healthy season.
Davis has been a disappointment. Numbers down from last year. Obviously Moser's preseason hype about his defense has proven to be comically inaccurate, which either shows yet again that Moser is clueless when it comes to evaluating his players, or that Moser was just incapable of getting Davis to play with the effort necessary to unlock his potential. And his offense is so streaky. His shot is horrible, and the rest of his game comes and goes. There are times when he is invisible for long stretches, and I don't think he is nearly the athlete Moser and others claimed. I said within the first week or two of the season that contrary to what Moser and Coach and the beat guys were saying, this roster doesn't have as much athleticism as the team two years ago, and I think that has been proven beyond any doubt.
