GAME 28- OKLAHOMA (13-14) vs AUBURN (15-12) 8:00pm CST on ESPNU

Does 6-1 down the stretch (Auburn + next 3 wins) + 2-1 in SEC tournament put us on the bubble?
Beat LSU, Mizzou, and Texas, and we're 17-14 going into the SEC tournament, 7-11 in the SEC. Go 2-1 in the SEC tournament and we're 19-15. That's a bubble team. Win 3 games in the SEC tournament, and we're 20-15 with a 7 game winning streak ending in the quarterfinals. That's probably the right side of the bubble.

That's a small needle to thread.

Yes. I’ve always felt that 20 wins has Oklahoma in the conversation. I didn’t expect the season to go this poorly, so I think 21 wins gets them there. But, we all know that ain’t happening. I think Missouri is probably the only other win. Maybe

But also, look at Cincinnati. Won four games in a row, including beating Kansas at home by 16 points. Sitting at 16 wins and they aren’t really even in the conversation.

This team hasn’t won more than two consecutive games all season against non-high school teams and we have unironic discussions about whether they can close the season by winning six of seven or seven of eight. Wow.

Honestly, I don’t mind taking a break from the fire Moser stuff. Live in fantasy land for a bit

I can’t believe some of you still think we can suddenly win 5-6 games in a row. lol. We may lose on the road to LSU, probably lose at home to Missouri and we will definitely lose at Texas. Then the SEC tourney, we won’t win more than 2 games. I doubt we even win one.

Let this mercifully end and let us move on to the next coach and possibly hope again.
