Regardless of a personal view of the play-in round, do you think UNC should have been included over other large bids by their resume alone based on the committee’s stated criteria? That seems like a clear data point where elite programs get the benefit of the doubt over generic P5 programs (like WVU).

If you want to turn this into a referendum on the play-in round, no need to continue further.

I think using one anecdotal example is always a poor way to make an argument. As an example: the very same Tar Heels were first four out three years ago. Did the committee not care about TV ratings that year?
