While Oklahoma's schedule may seem weak, it compares favorably to the majority of the remaining SEC slate. Outside of Alabama and one or two others, many SEC teams face a significantly weaker non-conference schedule than that of OU.Well you can’t help the struggles. 338 in KenPom. Sure….whatever. My biggest issue is that all these cupcakes are at HOME!! It’s hurting two groups: one the players and two the biggest supporters of the basketball program, the season ticket holders. Not saying we play Gonzaga every week but give us some decent teams in the OOC.While Oklahoma's schedule may seem weak, it compares favorably to the majority of the remaining SEC slate. This makes a lot of sense. Fans are more excited about playing good SEC teams than Big 12 opponents. It’s hurting....biggest supporters of the basketball program, the season ticket holders. Not saying we play Gonzaga every week but give us some decent teams in the OOC.
Any numbers to back that up? There are 365 teams and KenPom has our noncon SOS at 348.While Oklahoma's schedule may seem weak, it compares favorably to the majority of the remaining SEC slate.
