WV down 9 to texas at the break....despite shooting 60% from the field. Unless they really create alot of texas TOs in the 2nd half, they are in trouble this game because they aren't going to shoot like that in the 2nd half.

I know I may get some folks riled up by saying this....but Texas is playing like the 2nd best team in the conference over the last three weeks. It took a great shot by Buddy to beat them in Norman and they lost to ISU in a game they were in until the last 2 minutes. Other than that, they have been playing really well in all facets of the game.

And as I type this....WV hits a 3 and cuts the lead to 6 in game where Texas has been in total control since late in the 1st half.:facepalm

I truly believe we'll beat the whorns rather handily in the rematch at Austin. They played great the first half at LNC, but it was apparent the entire second half that they were holding on for dear life.

I hope you're right, but they have played so steady and consistent since their early conference losses to Tech and TCU. I hope our guys are hitting their shots or it would appear to be very tough sledding against them.

yup, I agree...I don't think it's a "sure" or "easy" win. Now, if we get our mojo back tonight and sat...then maybe. Right now we are struggling.

I agree. No remaining games are guaranteed (perhaps osu and @TCU). Our best is the best in the country, but if we aren't hitting outside shots, anyone can knock us off.

Our half court offense needs tweaking and the three point defense should get better. I have given up on our ability to stop the penetration to the bucket. It'll never happen.
