Geno to the NBA?

It was reported NBA teams have taken notice that Geno is a great coach and are talking about him coaching in the NBA. One source close to Geno said he is interested although nothing is expected to happen anytime soon but, it's possible in the future.

Geno is 62 and the only way I can see him leave for the NBA is because it is on his bucket list to do. He is a great coach, but other coaches have said it is night and day difference between the NBA and college. One big difference that could be a factor is Geno will not have much to say about who is on the team from the start. Depending on the team and owner the salary cap can be a big deal. One thing about it though if he does go to the NBA it will be interesting to see who UConn goes after. Thinking about past players or existing coaches hasn't always worked out as in look at Tennessee replacing a legend.

I think the NBA would take all of the fun out of the game for Geno.
