I’d like to see the Wichita, Oregon and USC games, and see what we were doing different.

At least vs Wichita and SC we got other guys involved.

4 guys standing in one place ... 1 dribbling. We’re basically the Thunder from last year.

I understand why Trae feels like he needs to go into "hero mode". Outside of the pick/role, backpick for an alleyoop, and a couple of inbounds plays, they have no offensive system in place that I can see. When guys are spectators and not moving without the ball, any offense will become stagnant. I thought we moved the ball well early in the 2nd half, then we regressed back into the clear out offense for Trae.

I could also do without the "30 foot chucks" 5 seconds into the shot clock.

Teams didn't guard much against us in those games. They let Manek shoot it. Teams today don't. Trae also wasn't scared to pass it away. I feel like those turnovers got in his head, to where he's afraid to throw the pass. I'd also say teams are forcing Trae into bad situations.

But, the past 2 games have been on the defensive end. When we play defense, we get open looks from other guys.

Conference play is way different, teams are more familiar with personnel and the way teams are coached.

Exactly. This is why defense is key. When OU locked down Ok State, they did good. They actually played good in the 2nd half looking at the stats. The 1st half was just awful.

Trae decides to take over in the 2nd half of too many games though. We start standing around, and he makes a play. We can't run our offense because it involves a pick on Trae's man, and they double, and every time they double, Trae turns it over. That's the biggest issue with team ball. Our offense calls for a screen on the ball, which ends up in a double team on Trae and he doesn't know where to go

“Get downhill”

“Engage other guys”

“Make the ‘hockey’ assist”

Agree with Seth and Jay on this. Breaking it down on ESPN

Did your team enjoy the game today (except for the result)? It's cool for young players to see fun basketball environments.

Had a blast. That’s the thing about coaching, getting hr opportunity to take these kids, and I do appreciate osu for 30 tickets for my guys. They expierenced first hand a great environment!

About half osu ou fans. They were on each other all day.

Thank you for asking

I was a high school assistant for 20 years, I know those times with your players are treasured. There's more to coaching than just diagramming plays.

I’d like to be an assistant again!!

Team ball would be nice but it also would be great if we decided to get off the bus in these road games. Going down near 20 pts in back to back games within the first 7-8 minutes is inexcusable and a near impossible climb back to pull out victories.

Bilas is roasting Trae during the Kentucky game

I understand criticism, though I'm not sure I agree, but far more problematic is this team's unwillingness to defend consistently with any purpose. We've gotten beaten twice in a row by clearly inferior teams simply because they played with passion and aggressiveness on loose balls and on defense and this team has yet to commit.

Biggest problem with OU basketball and this team....is there isn't enough TY out there. Hate to say it again OU is not a very talented overall team..say what you want but that's what I see. The rest of the guys are very avg.

But you said the same thing about the most recent Final Four team.

You can win with a lot of average players.

A player like Young can make average players better. He needs to get back to that mindset.

Yup...Got to coach jv and soph helped V for 8 years. Just did 8th grade girls..rough season win wise but the girls got better.

I still "talk" to my jv girls (30 yrs old now) every now and then.
