Biggest problem with OU basketball and this team....is there isn't enough TY out there. Hate to say it again OU is not a very talented overall team..say what you want but that's what I see. The rest of the guys are very avg.

If you think the talent on the Final 4 team 2 years ago was appreciably greater than the talent on this year's team, I strongly disagree. The big differences between that team and this one are the players' experience (lots of seniors on that team) and the level of defense played. That team was rated 16th in defensive efficiency while this one is 54th.

The talent on the 2 teams is very similar.

But you said the same thing about the most recent Final Four team.

You can win with a lot of average players.

A player like Young can make average players better. He needs to get back to that mindset.

I may or may have not said that about the final 4 team..don't recall. A team with avg players if they get hot at the right time can make a deep run. OU has post players (without calling any names) that seem to have a really hard time rebounding and maintaining the ball once they do crab a rebound. The other guys can score 14-20 in one game and have 0 the next. I said it before and will say it again..if TY and few other guys get hot at the right time they too can make a run.
