Again, based on what? Woodard was up and down from three this year, but he still finished the year at a VERY respectable 37%.
Based on what I saw. Teams left Woodard alone on the perimeter kind of like they did with Sam Grooms. All of his 3's were set shots and he didn't create many shots off the dribble. He had to be wide open before he took a shot from the perimeter because it takes so much time to take a set shot. He doesn't have a jump shot. I honestly thought at the end of the year that teams didn't respect our post offense or Woodard. It put a lot of pressure on Buddy, Isiah, and Cam to carry the offense.
I also thought he got beat on defense a lot with guys taking him off the dribble. Of the 4 returning starters next year, I think Woodard is the most likely to get beat out.
