Really like Coach Kruger as a person. I remember his first season at OU I was sitting at Louie's with my cousin eating lunch and I noticed him. I said, "Hey Coach, glad to have you here and good luck with the season!" (it was still fall). Instead of just saying thanks, he stopped and talked to us for a bit and asked about school and what not. Totally unexpected.

Very similar to the experience I had when I saw him just outside the Cotton Bowl in Dallas at the RRR. I caught his attention, and managed to stutter out something about being glad he was at OU, and good luck. He was very warm, and probably would have stopped and talked, but he was being following somebody that had already gotten ahead of him, so I didn't hold him up any longer. For as good a coach as we got in Lon Kruger, we got an even better man.
