Been a couple of good games this year between OU and ISU. Happy for you guys Hield came back for his senior year. What a great player and he seems pretty grounded. He deserves to be national player of the year and I hope he gets it. The Kansas-Oklahoma game was one for the ages. I hope if we can't knock Kansas off the top this year you guys can. I'm sick of seeing KU walk off with the trophy every year and I think most ISU fans like the Oklahoma team and Lon Krueger. Good luck the rest of the year.

Agreed and we need you guys to beat KU at Ames. We will beat them in Norman but you need to beat them in Ames. Otherwise they will win the conference again.

Agreed on all counts. I've thoroughly enjoyed OU's matchups with ISU the last couple of years. KU is definitely beatable this year, especially if they're playing anywhere outside of AFH. Good luck the rest of the season.

What does ISU look like next year and the year after that? Both OU and ISU have really good senior classes that will be difficult to replace. Honestly, it is amazing how good both classes are.

It's going to depend how new recruits do and whether Morris comes back or not. We are going to be pretty thin in the frontcourt. Even if Morris goes pro we will be pretty solid in the backcourt as long as Naz Long gets a medical redshirt which he should. Both Oklahoma and Iowa State need to enjoy this season because neither of us will probably see players like Hield and Niang for awhile and for both to be 4 year players is pretty awesome in this day and age. I know a lot of opposing teams dislike Niang but he has been a great player for us....he does so much for the team. Hope we can meet 2 more times this year....in the finals of the Big 12 tournament and and the NCAA championship game. That would be kind of neat.

The only reason to dislike him is because he is good.

When was Long injured? I was assuming you guys would lose him. I hope the guy gets a redshirt but I figured he probably played too many games.

I think you guys are screwed if Morris leaves. I think OU would be screwed if Woodard left. I realize you have young guys and Thomas but Thomas is not a star. He is a really good role player but not a star like Morris or Niang. He might become an amazing defender. He did a really good job on Hield for most of the game. I think he wore down a little late in the game but who can blame the guy. I couldn't cover Buddy for two minutes.

I don't mean any of this in a negative way. I just think losing four starters like McKay, Nadir, Niang and Morris is too much for any team to deal with. Plus, I was thinking you lose Long.

I think Lon has some good young talent both on this team and coming in. I think OU will be good for a while the way the talent looks to me. I also think some of these players are better than Hield was when he came to OU but he had the luxury of not having to play behind someone as good as he is now so he was able to develop during the games. He's come a long way from what he started 4 years ago and so has Cousins.

Thanks for posting cyclone! Mad respect for the ISU program! I always love when the Sooners match up against the Cyclones! Congrats on defending your home court against the No. 1 team as well.
