He has moved up to tied for 13th in the conference in blocked shots with 19. Pretty impressive for a guy playing limited minutes.

I love his ability to block shots and he has a good knack of getting his hands on the ball. With time, I think he can be a strong help defender, might even be that now. He has a really nice upside and will be an interesting front-court mate with Spangler next year and the JUCO big man (LL's cousin) - can't spell his name.

I hope he works as hard as the other guys at OU to improve his game this off season. If he can become a guy that scores 7+ a game next season, he will be fine in the starting lineup. His rebounding and shot blocking will likely be better than Thomas. That should make up for his lower point production.

I hope he can be like Jabari Brown.

Lattin is really important to our team next year. Has to improve in several areas. Needs to block out on rebounds better rather than depending on his athletic ability. Has a nice shot but like many frosh lacks confidence and a sense of timing about when to let it go. Needs to gain strength. All of those things are achievable.

We need a big guy to supplement Spangler who is bigger and can help neutralize the bigs from the other teams as well as consistently contribute against all teams.

Thomas is great against some matchups but not so much against all of them. That is a key part of our inconsistency this year. Lattin needs to be better than Thomas by next season.
