didn't play very well. Osby looked gassed. I wonder if he was sick. Fitz was just off a little.
Good win though with two starters not playing that well. Pledger looked unreal.

It's nice to know that this team can still find a way to win when our best post players are off their game. You may be right about Romero. This was not his best performance. Still, he managed to snag 10 boards to help us to a +4 in the rebound department.

Tyler Neal came up huge again. He made some clutch plays and finished the game with 9 points, 6 rebs (2 offensive) and 2 steals.

this team has an attitude, positive attitude! they are going to win games

Neal played great down the stretch. Ha d a couple of defensive stops, rebounds and free throws.

Unless Osby brings his A game most every night in the Big 12 we are going to have a lot of trouble winning games against conference opponents... Hope today showed him how important he is to our team this year. Houston ain't a bad team but it was made a ton more difficult because of the way he played tonight... Osby has to be that inside force for us to be competitive.

Pledger has evolved from a shooter to a scorer. That is huge in terms of helping the team and the additional pluses of his improvement in rebounding and defense is also significant.

I thought our help defense was not as good as the game against Arkansas but they tightened it up down the stretch.

Pledger said he was working on his consistency and it shows. That has given the whole team a lift. After the last two years for them to get even a little confidence means a lot.

I was impressed that the guy grabbed 10 boards in less than 20 minutes of floor time. His rebounds per minute played have to be near the top in the nation.
