Of that list, ugh...I'd rather have Brooks Thompson, but truthfully, I don't want any of those guys given the Tech hire and possible Mizzou hire.

NO new list holds water unless it includes Randy Johnson's Severed Left Testicle.

I didn't make this clear, but this is who Doug said he think Joe C should call, not an actual list of potential candidates. He as much said that no one knows anything about who the real candidates are.

He did say that Missouri is a more attractive job than OU to coaches right now (which I think is obvious) but that OU is a better job in the long run.

The last time a Big 8/12 school hired a coach from the Big West or West Coast conference (whatever it's called) was KSU when they hired Tom Asbury from Pepperdine. He had been successful at Pepperdine, but couldn't make the jump to recruiting to the big 8/12 and failed miserably.

I agree with that last part. Shows you how far our program has fallen in the last two years. The good news is that a 20-win season or two will erase a lot of those memories and put us back on the right track again. OU is a top twenty coaching job. We're just down on our luck right now.
