According to the 247 (ouinsider) basketball board, a 247 admin from the Arizona site is reporting Guerrero sustained an injury last night (Friday) in a basketball game.

Bellflower, Calif. - St. John Bosco's homecoming basketball night was spoiled by a 61-55 loss to Junipero Serra. JSerra was 0-4 in Trinity league play entering the game.

Cezar Guerrero, one of the top unsigned point guard prospects in the Class of 2011 was injured at the 3:44 mark of the third quarter after attempting to fight through a hard screen.

Guerrero, a one-time verbal commit to Western Kentucky retracted his verbal a month ago. He had a team-high 17 points, 15 of which came in the first half of action. Guerrero left the game holding his left shoulder. He returned to the Braves' bench later in the quarter with an ice back on his left collar bone and his left arm in a sling.

Braves coach Chris Madigan could not speak to the significance of Guerrero's injury following the game, only stating that he didn't see how it happened and that he was stunned.

Guerrero is coming off one of the best individual performances in Southern California's CIF this season, scoring 41 points against local basketball powerhouse Orange Lutheran on Tuesday.

Guerrero has multiple scholarship offers and at one time received interest from the University of Arizona. Guerrero is said to be considering New Mexico State, Oregon State and Oklahoma among several other schools across the national landscape such as Seton Hall and St. John's.
