Guys getting tired...

timeouts are longer during the ncaa tournament which helps us a bit as well.

Again, the evidence just doesn't prove that out. Go look at the game logs.

No need to look at the game logs. Anyone watching the games already knows the bench has been playing a lot better as of late. That means the starters should be more energized and less mentally fatigued. Getting good bench play was a must, and that's exactly how it has played out.

That may well be true. The improved production from the bench has been crucial. I don't dispute that one bit. However, I can't really quantify the impact that's had on the starters' mental state. I can look at the game logs and see that from a pure minutes standpoint, the starters have played basically the same numbers of minutes in the post season despite assertions to the contrary.

My only point (to the extent it matters) is the January/February hand-wringing about "too many minutes for the starters" or "going to have a hard time come March because Kruger has played Hield about 95% of the possible minutes" has proven to be a little overblown.

It's not that big of a deal, and I'm going to stop trying to convince anyone and just be happy things turned out as they have. :dance005:

Helps keep one's sanity intact also. :D

People will always rationalize their opinions, no matter how absurd they are. Zim, just sit back with the quite satisfaction that you are right and they are wrong.
